Be there for children everywhere. Be more Gladys.

This month, look out for our Legacy TV advert which raises awareness about Gift in Wills, and how they support children and young people.

Our advert features the character Gladys, who leaves a gift in her Will which could support Barnardo’s in many ways, such as to support young carers, improve children's mental health, provide homes for young people leaving care and build stronger families through our family centres.

It will be shown across a variety of channels including Channel 4, Film4, More4 and Sky channels throughout March, which is also Free Wills Month. If you’d like to find out more about writing your Will for free this month, you can find out more here - https://www.barnardos.org.uk/get-involved/donate/leaving-gift-your-will/free-will-services

A heartfelt message to all customers,

I’m sure some of you will have seen the for sale sign on our shop, which means we will be closing our doors for the last time on Friday the 28th of February.

This decision has not been taken lightly and it will effect us all, so wether you’ve shopped with us once or twice, you’ve popped in for your weekly natter, or the odd few of you who we see everyday, we have truly appreciated all of your custom and will miss the community we’ve thrived in.

Please continue to support your local Barnardo’s store as all money spent in store is needed to raise vital funds for vulnerable children and young people.

You will still see some of our volunteers from team Pallion in other stores so do pop in and say hi!

We will be continuing to trade until closing day and will keep you all posted on when final donations can be accepted.

Much love, from the team who love pre-loved,

Team Pallion 🫶
