What a wonderful night it was in village last night. Thank you to the fire and light committee for the amazing tree and lights around the village, all the shops and eateries and especially the lovely people coming out and enjoying themselves and making such an amazing atmosphere.
We will be making a healthy donation to the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee). Thank you!

This is the start of Fairtrade Fortnight - 30 years of the first Fairtrade marked products going on sale in British Supermarkets. So much progress but still a long way to go until Trade is Fair.
It is also the beginning of Art week Ullapool and, having several talented artists working with me at the shop, we have dedicated our window to them this week as part of the art trail organised by An Talla Solais. They have all created Fairtrade logos in the style of their art to connect the two celebrations. I am very proud to be connected with them all.
Please come and admire their work and see when their studios might be open. - and maybe check out some Fairtrade products while you are here

After stocktaking, snow and gales we are open for limited hours this month with a great sale too! And 10%off everything not in the sale.

Open today until 4 (closed for lunch 12.15-12.45)

Jojo's lovely coffee shop and deli next door also open so why not grab a steaming cuppa and bring it in while you browse and keep warm and dry.

Christmas is here again!
Loads of lovely things in store and having fun creating an entry for the Christmas Tree festival in the Church of Scotland.
Hope to see you there, in the shop, and especially on Thursday evening (1st Dec) for the lights switch on. We will be open 5-8pm with many items on sale, wine, hot chocolate, nibbles and a lucky dip!

Today is World Ocean Day so we are highlighting our ever popular knitted sea animal rattles from Pebble, TurtleBags (string bags that save turtles choking on plastic ones), OceanSaver cleaning products and coming soon a second order of Waterhaul sunglasses and litter pickers made from recycled fishing nets.
We are proud to be supporting all these initiatives in their endeavours to highlight the plight of our seas and make a difference.
