The New Broom The New Broom, Lochbroom & Ullapool Community Trust's shop and hub. Preloved joy & Ecover refills. They should be clean and sellable.

The New Broom community shop reuses, restores and rehomes household items donated by the public. A list of items you can donate are on the New Broom page of the Lochbroom and Ullapool Community Trust website. DVD's, books, clothing, bric a brac, small pieces of furniture, small working electrics. If in doubt email us to check. We have very limited storage, so please, no van loads, thankyou. We also sell Ecover and Faith in Nature refills. The New Broom is a long term project of Lochbroom & Ullapool Community Trust Ltd ( LUCT) a company limited by guarantee registered in Scotland No SC356419 and a Scottish Charity, No SC041228.

We are delighted to say that from tomorrow Monday the 14th The New Broom's sorting depot will be open and receiving all donations. The Depot can be found at the back left of Latheron units (opposite Tescos) if in doubt It is the one with the green door! This will be open weekday afternoons from 2-5pm, with a mind to increase on these hours in the future.

Please, we ask you to no longer take any donations direct to the shop as we will no longer be able to accept them there.

The Depot will be allow better sorting, and the stock to be kept fresher and with more creative recycling of remaining "waste" materials.

In the near future we will be hosting a variety of fabric based workshops and community projects or two. We are always looking for inspiration, and keen for people to get involved so if you have any ideas, have a few hours to volunteer, or have some other suggestion please do get in touch- We'd be glad to hear from you!

Thank you very much to the many folk that came and looked at or bought from our yard sale!

We sold loads raising funds and reducing lanfill..all while providing a wide range of quality solid wood and vintage items for resale.
