It began with a shelf of books in the lobby and grew topsy-like to priority space in the front of the building. A stunning collection makes the shop one of the best of the small independent shops around. We host an eclectic mix of titles suitable for all ages and interests covering everything from fiction to children’s books, art, history, music, poetry, politics, natural history, travel writing and biography. Customers tell us that they find books here that they could not find anywhere else. The promotion of Scottish literature is one of our strengths. All subject areas are constantly updated with the latest publications. Staff offer a high level of personal service and will be happy to advise you whether you are looking for a gift, a book on a particular subject or simply a good read. They are experienced at searching for unusual titles and will be delighted to supply books anywhere in the world.
