We have also developed a section of Audio products, in particular CDs (Classical and Scottish), DVDs (General and Scottish) and a small selection of both Adult and Children’s Audiobooks. With the advent of the 7 day a week Ferry sailing from Ullapool to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis), the Ullapool Bookshop is now open seven days a week all year round, therefore providing a yearly service for visitors and also to those who live in and around Ullapool and Ross-shire. Ullapool Bookshop participates in World Book Day, promoting special books for Children. During early May, the Ullapool Bookshop also is involved in the Ullapool Book Festival, with all the authors’ books on display throughout the month, as well as welcoming authors who visit from time to time.

Tabletop Tour anyone? We've had so many deliveries recently, that it's hard to keep up. However, we know that our loyal followers love a around Ullapool Bookshop , so here it is.

Local Authors, signed copies, Bookmarks, Jigsaws, 2027 Calendars and Diaries and of course SO many wonderful books too. Something for everyone, where words are fuel for the imagination.

Join us on Tuesday 16th June at 4pm for a very special Storytime event for toddlers and young children! (And their well behaved grown ups too).

Author Zoe Stevenson will be reading Live from her 2 beautiful kids books, 'What colour are your wellies' (Set in the Hebrides) and
'The seal who loved to sing' (packed full of sea animals).

Starting at 4pm, this short storytime should be great fun and all are welcome!

Really delighted to have had a surprise visit today at from children's Author whose popular books and are some of our favourite currently.

We also are thrilled to reveal that Zoe is returning to us on Tuesday 16th June at 4pm to host a very special storytime at for younger people and their well behaved parents or guardians! All welcome. Put the date in your diary now!
