With summer holidays just around the corner ☀️🏞️ and lots more people heading to our beautiful Lake District, it’s a great time to enjoy the scenery with your four‑legged friends 🐶💚.

But please be aware: some lakes have recently reported blue‑green algae ⚠️. This algae is highly dangerous to dogs, causing serious illness and, in some heartbreaking cases, death.

👉 Keep your dogs out of affected water
👉 Follow local signage and guidance
👉 Stay alert when walking near lakes and tarns

Unfortunately, Claire had to reschedule yesterday’s Mantrailing and Trail Hunt International session due to the extreme heat. With very little breeze and temperatures soaring, the welfare of the dogs had to come first, so Claire made the responsible decision to postpone.
