After 3 amazing years we said goodbye today.

Thank you to everyone for being part of a journey which has been so special in so many ways. We’ve met many lovely people who have used the shop on a regular basis and we’ll always be grateful for the support you gave us.

We’ll miss so many of you, but a new chapter is always round the corner.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that the shop will cease trading under the current management team as of Saturday 3rd June, that being our last day in the shop.

Matt & Kim would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the last 3 years and without your custom the shop wouldn’t be where it is today.

The committee of the club will announce shortly the future of the shop and what steps it will take next to keep it open.

Thanks again for your loyalty to us and the shop.

The shop will be closing early this afternoon (Thursday 9th). We will be open as normal from 2pm but shut at 3:30pm, the post office will still be here this afternoon as well.

A busy coronation weekend and we’re proud to be supporting it.

We’ve got a big weekend of events planned for the Coronation Weekend over the 6-8 May, all in partnership with Wethersfield Village Hall.

Saturday will see the main coronation take place in the morning, for us we’ll be holding live music in the evening with the fabulous Barney & The Rubbles.

Sunday we’ll start the afternoon with a selection of stalls and entertainment for everyone to enjoy, more details will be announced on this shortly. In the evening the big screen will be out so we can all come together to watch the live event from Windsor Castle.

Then on Monday the village hall will organise a huge afternoon tea which was very popular over the jubilee weekend and I’m sure the same will be the case on this occasion.

Food & a licensed bar will be available at most of the days events over the 3 days.

So get involved over this historic weekend and join us for some memories to be made in the village.
