Always record the serial numbers of your expensive kit. Chainsaws, trailers, ATV'S, and quads are attractive to thieves. Report a rural crime or anything suspicious either online or 101.

🍻 Our local pubs are at the heart of our communities – but with rising costs and new tax burdens, they need our support more than ever.

A fortnight ago, I had the honour of joining Andy, Ruth, their boys and the village of Stretton to tap the first barrel and officially open the wonderful The White Horse Stretton.

Last week, I crowned the The Woodhouse Arms in Corby Glen the overall winner of Rutland and Stamford’s Favourite Pub Awards! πŸ†

And next week, I’ll be cheering on two more brilliant local pubs in Parliament at the Community Pub Hero Awards – masses of luck to The George & Dragon Seaton and the Olive Branch ClipshamπŸ€

With the rain setting in again, there’s no better excuse to try a new pub and enjoy a Sunday roast 🍽️

🚯 I need your help to tackle fly-tipping across our communities.

If you’ve seen fly-tipping in Rutland, Stamford, South Kesteven or the Harborough villages, please do take a couple of minutes to complete my survey.

I’ll use your responses to raise local hotspots with our councils and crack down on this selfish crime which is ruining our beautiful countryside.

You can complete the short survey here: www.aliciakearns.com/fly-tipping
