Wildwood Fuel Sustainable kiln-dried firewood from Cornwall and Devon, delivered to your home. Wildwood was set up by husband and wife Hugh and Tina Davis.

Hugh’s keen interest in sustainability and background in forest management led him to identify an opportunity for a homegrown firewood business at Treworder. Following the planting of eucalyptus saplings, a short rotation crop that creates an excellent source of raw material for firewood, Treworder received Silver in the Royal Forestry Society Woodland for Climate Change Competition. e award here. In September 2016, a biomass boiler-powered kiln was installed at Treworder by Kernow Fires in Wadebridge. The biomass boiler is a KWB 300 KW Powerfire, fuelled by waste wood from the logging process which is chipped and fed automatically via a large auger. The boiler heats 8,000 litres of water which is pumped around the wood kiln for up to six days until the logs are perfectly dry. The boiler has been designed to run a second kiln which is planned for the future. Wildwood now supplies locally-sourced kiln-dried hardwood firewood, both to trade and direct to consumers. We were delighted to play a part in the creation of one of the gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show this year.

The Body Shop’s conceptual Regeneration Garden, designed by Jennifer Hirsch, tells a story of environmental and societal regeneration, from a state of burnout to wellbeing.

Our eucalyptus timber was used as the backdrop for this stunning garden, which is a 2022 Silver Gilt medal winner.

Sustainably-grown, our logs are kiln-dried at Treworder Barton near Wadebridge. We deliver loose loads by the cubic metre, or in packs of 30 bags (£190), 50 bags (£295), and 70 bags (£385).

Call 0300 303 4963 by 18 December for delivery before Christmas.

🔥 We use a biomass boiler fuelled by wood waste to fire the kiln, and the carbon dioxide emitted when this wood is burned is the same amount that was absorbed over the time period that the plant was growing, therefore creating carbon-neutral fuel.
As long as new plants continue to grow in place of those used for fuel, the process is sustainable.

Wildwood logs are kiln-dried at Treworder Barton farm near Wadebridge, Cornwall. All of our wood is kiln-dried making our logs the most economical way to fuel your fire. This is because they have a lower moisture content, meaning less energy is required to burn off residual moisture, so more energy is converted into heat.
