It’s all in the making…

There is something truly special about seeing tradition brought to life by skilled hands. The craftsmanship behind the silver plate alms dishes for Aintree is remarkable, the speed at which he cuts out the horses and with such precision.

Our craftsman are often forgotten and they are such an important and vital part of our heritage and of who and what we do at Inkerman.

Meet the dream team heading to the Grand National this year🏆🐎

First up…

Libby - who joined Inkerman two years ago as a sales associate having previously worked in the film industry - so a natural in front of the camera!

Then comes Amy - who is also a sales associate and has been with Inkerman for just under a year.

Then it’s Mark - who looks like he’s walked straight out of a crime drama… but if a trophy goes missing, he’s already halfway through the investigation.

Mark has been with Inkerman for nearly as long as it’s been going and enters his 20th year of looking after the trophies for the Grand National.

Mark organises all of the trophies, working closely with the Aintree team and the sponsors for the festival. A fountain of knowledge and there isn’t much he doesn’t know about the trophies at the Grand National.
