Sadly so much reusable stuff ends up in landfill, which breaks my heart. I really enjoy rescuing and re-purposing all kinds of materials such as beads, findings, fabrics...

This ethical and sustainable approaches helps me to keep costs down and be creative with some wonderful and unusual materials. I also enjoy finding preloved precious and costume jewellery that I can give a little attention too and bring back to its former glory. So much beautiful jewellery already in existence and needing a new home! Buying vintage jewellery is a sustainable way to add glamour to your style! I love sourcing vintage pieces and being able to send them to new homes. Occasionally I find a piece that I fall in love with and keep for my own, ever growing collection! The Sterling Silver I work with is 'Eco Silver' made from recycled sterling silver. I also purchase metal off-cuts from companies who would usually just throw them away. I buy all of my gemstones from reputable sellers. I also combine new with vintage and often use stones or findings rescued from broken vintage jewellery. The upcycled jewellery pieces I make are unique, one of kind pieces. I love to create using my intuition and imagination. I absolutely love buying broken beaded jewellery! Especially vintage. This beautiful lot was only £5 on Vinted and there are some many stunning beads in here including gemstone, glass, wooden and plastic.

If you're a crafter, broken jewellery is such a great source of unique materials and brilliant for upcycling!

If you're a reseller and have broken jewellery, simply bag it up in lots and sell it on 😁♻️🧡
