Hello everyone. We have an announcement to make. As most of us are aware, our lives should be one of growth, adaption, and forward motion. The shop was always something we wanted to try, and being the kind of people that we are, once we've done something, we have the "completed mate" mentality. We're also realistic about what the future looks like, considering all things.
So, with no actual regret or sadness, we'll be shutting the Pagan Magick shop. Today will be the last Saturday, with Tuesday being our last day of officially being open.
The facts are that we don't get the footfall due to the location of the building, and Wakefield just isn't the right place. Both those things are never going to change.
Being sat in a shop with nothing to do, per se, can be and is soul destroying. Our time can be best served else where, but still making the things we do and putting them online for sale instead.
We will continue our path anyway, and what we've created here will find a new form somewhere else, whether that be on the Internet or, in the middle of a forest!
Further down the line, we may possibly still hold the crafting circles at a different location, and the Tarot readings can do done over video chat, etc. The possibilities are only limited by our own imaginations.
We want to thank everyone that came into our shop, whether it was just for a nosey, a chat, a cuppa, crafting, a tarot reading, and purchasing our products. We've met some really nice people, and people that have left us lovely comments on our socials about how they felt being here in the shop.
It wasn't just about being a shop that sold things but also a space people felt comfortable in. And those kind words reflected that. As I said, we will more than likely be looking at recreating that space, but in a different form further down the line.
So watch this space. We'll keep posting on our socials. Our products will be available online soon...
