So it’s time to update everyone, the hidden gem has now rebranded to ‘Miss Peaker’s Emporium’ you will also find ‘Pagan Magick’ in there, two women who have collaborated to turn one shop into two. Come along and have a look at the big changes, I think you’ll like it.

There’s a lot been happening here at the hidden gem, a full change around in the shop, introduction of pagan magick and Miss Peaker’s emporium, opening launch date is Wednesday 29th July 12pm till 9pm. There’s lots going on throughout the day including help from a couple of Miss Peaker’s girls, so for those of you who’ve been on the wakefield ghost walk, come along a meet them dressed in their Victorian finest, serving drinks etc

Which Victorian costume will I use, hmm decisions, decisions, and as a rare treat you’ll get to meet a couple of Miss Peakers school girls dressed in their Sunday best helping out. That’s the Artwalk this Wednesday 5pm till 9pm, you never know, you might even get a sneak look at the basement now it’s been cleaned up a lot.

It’s approaching Artwalk once again and this time we will be focusing on things of the paranormal, from divination tools used past through to the present time. Come and hear what daily detour paranormal have been up to, hear about the soon to be changes at the hidden gem, get a short reading, and in the mix will be a bit of poetry, new artwork by the lovely Angela Jane Nagy, people dressed Victorian and of course much needed beverages.

Tonight’s gathering beneath the shadows of Wakefield Ghost Walk 👻🕯️

An incredible crowd joined us this evening to walk the hidden streets of Wakefield, hear the old stories, and stand where history refuses to stay buried.

A particularly special night as we were honoured to welcome Steve Jones — creator of the original Wakefield Ghost Walk in the 1980s. Some of the tales shared tonight have echoed through these streets for more than 40 years.

Thank you to everyone who came along and became part of the story tonight. The atmosphere, reactions, and energy from the group made this one truly memorable.
