There’s something really special about making your own glazes from scratch. It’s a slow process. Testing, adjusting, waiting, and sometimes starting all over again. I think that’s part of what makes it so rewarding.
This one is a chun glaze I keep coming back to… my “old faithful.” It never turns out exactly the same twice, but that’s what I love about it. A little unpredictable, but always worth the effort.
So much time goes into each piece before it even reaches the kiln, and I think that quiet work is what makes the final result feel meaningful 🤍
