Into June and there's still plenty going on 💙

Here's what's happening the week of 2nd–8th June across Walkden and Little Hulton 👇

💬 Tue 2nd - Talk About It Mate, 1–3 pm
Walkden Gateway, Smith Street, M28 3EZ. Sometimes you just need somewhere to go and someone to talk to. This is that.

📓 Wed 3rd - START Wings Group — Journalling, 1–3 pm
St Paul's, Walkden Moor, M28 3JR. If you've ever thought about journaling but never quite started - this is a gentle way in.

🌿 Thu 4th - Madamswood Litter Pick, 10 am–12 pm
Tao Temple, Heavenly City, Tian Cheng, M28 0JU. Get outside, do something good for the area, and feel better for it. Simple as that.

This is all part of 100 Days of free activity across Little Hulton and Walkden - a locally-led project, made by and for the people here.

Here's what's on across Little Hulton and Walkden 26th May to 1st June 👇

👨‍👩‍👧 Tue 26th - Lowry's Creative Families, 10–11.30 am Family Hub, Longshaw Drive. Under 5s creative fun. Book your place: 0161 686 7229. Ready-made plan sorted.

✍️ Wed 27th - 100 Poems Workshop 2, 10.30 am–12.30 pm CommUNITY Little Hulton, Peel Park Pavilion. Poetry writing AND a buffet. Come for the buffet. Stay for the words.

🪟 Thu 28th - Stained Glass Craft Day, 10 am–12 pm Little Hulton Library, M28 0AZ. Exploring the stained glass of Little Hulton and Walkden. A proper local history afternoon.

🖼️ Fri 29th - 100 Poems Workshop 3, 3.30–5.30 pm Walkden Library, Smith Street. Using pictures as prompts - bring your own or use theirs.

🚂 Sat 30th — Roe Green Loopline Parade, 11 am–1 pm A proper community parade. Check times and stopping locations at the QR code on the programme.

🌳 Also Sat 30th — Parr Fold Park Celebration, 1–4.30 pm Parr Fold Park, Walkden, M28 7DT. Straight after the parade. A lovely way to spend a Saturday.

📖 Sun 31st — 100 Poems Workshop 4, 11 am–2 pm Little Hulton Precinct, M28 0BA. The final one — part of something really special for the area.

🚴 Mon 1st June — Group Bike Rides from Blackleach, 10–11.30 am Blackleach Country Park, John Street, M28 3DT. Some bikes available to borrow. No excuse needed.
