A HUGE community post for two of our schools

Hayfield and St Albans have both been entered into The Green Token Giving Scheme for Asda Liscard as a result of the campaigning from Turn the page books

This will give both schools the opportunity to purchase mental health/emotional wellbeing books for their school

Please visit www.asda.com/green-tokens and select Liscard as the store , then vote for these schools

Mental health in our communities matters and supporting our schools is a massive step forward when achieving this goal!

We hope you are well!
Turn the Page has been a little quiet lately but this is all due to a house move...
Lots of packing and lots to sort but all almost done
We have some exciting news to share in the next coming weeks πŸ™‚ as we have had a lovely meeting today with a new school who we will introduce and welcome in the coming weeks on our fb page
So, for now, enjoy the changing of the seasons and we will post new community projects very soon πŸ₯°

There are a selection of mental health books which this school would greatly appreciate in their campaign to support their families

Good morning all!

Turn the page is all about the development and the emotional well-being of children!

Turn the page has another group, which is all about inclusive crafting 🎨

This group is to allow our children of all abilities and learning needs to get creative, which in turn helps a childs social / emotional wellbeing, letting them explore new textures and sensory seek

Our group is planning on its first meeting since lockdown and the best part is this is totally FREE for families

Our sessions are called 'For the love of Art' and we will be at the Lady Lever Art Gallery on 5th February and then once a month for the foreseeable

Bee Early Years is an amazing group, situated in Birkenhead, that offers a variety of sessions such as early years stay and play, Sensory play and baby massage

The lovely Lisa who runs this group has created a support network for many families, so this book collection is a great addition for all to enjoy πŸ“–

These books focus on daily tasks which are shown through interactive social stories, allowing the child to explore each page and ask questions along the way

Huge thank you to The kindness by one of their parents Laura Lambourne for purchasing the very popular book 'What is Racism?' πŸ“–

Laura is keen for her child to learn about how and why we are all different, and why Racism is never accepted, so instead of purchasing a copy for herself, she wanted this copy to be used in her school setting πŸ₯°
