Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

The shop may not be open today.

Mrs B had an appointment at 7am at Arrowe Park for a CT scan.
Perhaps naively, we assumed that this was a quick and simple process and that opening the shop as normal would be no problem.

However, after being sent to the wrong department, when we finally got to the right place, I was told that I could not stay and I had to go home and wait for a phone call to pick Mrs B up. Apparently it can take most of the morning!

So I am now twiddling my thumbs at home waiting for this call.

Opening the shop will depend on when the call comes. If it is too late then it will be tomorrow when I open as normal.

Evening all. Hope everyone is OK.

There was a Guardian column today by Dave Schilling bemoaning the fact that shops have Halloween stuff for sale on August 23rd.

He should consider himself lucky.

I went to Home Bargains in Bidston this morning and was stunned to see Christmas trees on display in their window.

This was not the end of it - once inside the shop I discovered that they had a whole Christmas aisle, with baubles, tinsel, santas and other tat.

The next aisle was a summer barbecue one!!

The following aisle was an assortment of gardening stuff!

Due to Mrs B's gallivanting lifestyle, the shop will be closed tomorrow (Saturday). So you will have to wait until Monday to buy all the wonderful new CDs that have arrived!

Thanks to Mrs B's hectic hospital social life, the shop will be closed today (Tuesday).

Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

The shop is closed today (Monday 16th) due to the funeral of a lovely lady I have known for a very long time.

There is certainly something wrong with the world when many decent people are leaving us and bastards like Donald Trump are still going strong. After telling us that he didn't need our help and that America had won the war, he is now saying there is much more to do and asking us to send ships to help the flow of oil. I thought it was all over Donald?

Of the very few people who have been into the shop in the last couple of weeks, some appear to be in need of help. A lady came in on Thursday and whispered: "My friend tells me you sell ci******es."
It took ten minutes to convince her that I didn't have cheap f**s hidden away under the counter. As soon as she left, a man came in and asked where I kept my hairdryers!

And the very next person who comes in and tells me that they are "here for their reading" is going to be leaving £30 lighter and no wiser. I get on average three of these a week. Check the bloody address, dipsticks!

Just a quick thing before bedtime. Donald Trump has said that visitors to the USA will have to show 5 years of social media history before they will be allowed to visit. This is presumably in case anyone has said anything remotely anti-Trump.

So, in case my mind becomes even more feeble than it is, and one day decides that I would like to go to America, I think now is the time to make sure that it won't happen.

Here we go:

Donald Trump is a useless orange moron who is not fit to lead a conga line, never mind a country.
He is a convicted felon. A s*x pest. An inciter of hatred. He is a liar and a cheat. He is so far up Putin that he is almost wearing his trappers hat. He is using his term in office to line his own pockets.

He has the I.Q. of a newt. A fairly thick newt, not one of the clever newts.
This is a man who wanted Americans to inject themselves with bleach.
A man who features in many Epstein photos, but apparently did not know what was going on. Of course you didn't know, Donald. I believe you because your past record on telling the truth is exemplary.

He cheats at golf. He probably cheats at cards. He is untrustworthy, self-serving, loathsome and vile. And a t**t.

There we are - that should see me safely kept out.
