Sometimes a book comes along about local history that's really good. This time 2 came at the same time. Writer Deborah Elliott has produced two wonderful books; 'From Ruddington to Cromford', and 'From Gallows Hill to Everton'. Hopefully a talk from Deborah too soon. Unfortunately it was planned then we closed with a bereavement. Both books in store. Open Thursday to Saturday at the moment.

As many of you know, I lost my lovely Mum on Friday and our world changed forever. Thank you for all your messages of support. I know why I called the shop a "community" bookshop. With the help of my friends I will open the shop on Saturday again, especially as we have Ramsey Campbell in to chat at 11am. The Bookclub and Crochet classes this week will not take place, and I will be in touch with members shortly. Apologies. From Saturday the shop will only open on Fridays and Saturdays 11am - 4.30pm. Book orders I will contact you independently. Thank you for your support and friendship.
