Sarah went to Victoria, capital of BC Canada, and popped into Munro's Books. A warm welcome from lovely Taliah in this iconic independent bookshop. Established in 1963 by none other than Alice Munro. What a treat it was.

It’s Bookshop Day tomorrow - the perfect end to a busy week!! Apologies for not posting much this week. We’ve been moving the shop around a bit to make a lovely new children’s book nook; fighting with all the new stock (so…many…books!); taking two brilliantly talented author illustrators - Emma Carlisle and Beccy Blake out to six local schools for draw-alongs and shenanigans, discussing delicious Dishoom in cookbook club, winding down with Shh! I‘m Reading bookclub and then gearing up for tomorrow 😂 Pop in to hunt for Gruffalo Granny (lollipops and stickers for the winners); look for the Libro.fm Audiobooks Golden Ticket (finder wins 12 audiobook credits 🎉🎉) plus we have some gorgeous totes to thank you for supporting us throughout the year ❤️ Hope to see you 😊x
