Just a note this afternoon to say please don’t leave donations outside when we’re closed.
We understand it’s frustrating if you’ve come when we’re either not open yet, taking a quick (usually comfort) break or closed for the day, but please don’t leave anything here!!
We need to check with you what you’re bringing us as there are some things we cannot accept due to our business licence or space capacity.
Please check our notice board which has a list of donations we’re happy to take but if unsure, just give us a call, we’re happy to answer your questions.
👓 We’ve also had a little increase of donations of prescription Sunglasses and Glasses. 🕶️
Sadly, we cannot sell these as they are specific to the person they were made for and we don’t have the time to take each one every time to recycle.
Your optician should be able to tell you whether they take them for recycling or a quick search online should tell you which places can take them.
🤗 We are ever so grateful for your donations, however please only donate items you would be happy to gift to a friend or indeed buy yourself.
We don’t have any means to dispose of things onsite and so this comes at a cost to our team members. We want to spend our time getting lovely donations ready for you to buy, so please help us this way. If it’s broken / stained / damaged / missing pieces, please don’t bring it to us. It’s not fair on our team. We also don’t have any space to keep things that are unsellable so please just take these to the fabulous local recycling centres which are quick and easy if you pre-sort.
Thank you to everyone who helps us already by donating incredible pieces, and to the people who buy those amazing pieces, we can’t survive without you!
Thank you.
On a completely unrelated note, does anyone have time to collect these sunglasses and take to an optician for us? 😂
