Ah such a lovely afternoon meeting 4 new students! The time seems to fly by when I am teaching workshops. It's always so lovely to meet new people and see how well they pick up using the tools and sawing their rings to size. This afternoon we had delicious cakes with tea and coffee provided by the lovely . And the workshop set up by is just perfect for teaching my workshops. Keep an eye out for next week on as there are new classes coming for August and September. My next class will be in September now, those on my waiting list look out for an email from the workshop on the strand team, as my next date is being released next week and I keep the class small to ensure you get the best attention and teaching.

🧵 Do you have an ever growing stash of fabric at home? Looking for new inspiration for your next sewing or quilting project? Then, I may have the solution 😂

♻️ I’m so excited to be running my first fabric swap this July , and supporting fantastic local charities in the process and .ekm. Anyone who’s attended a lesson, or had a chat will know how much I’ve wanted to do this for quite a while 🙏

How does it work?
♻️ Bring up to 5 fabric pieces ( at least 1m minimum, and ideally labelled)
♻️ Make a minimum £2 donation to support our local charities
♻️ Swap for something new-to-you, saving textiles from landfill
♻️ Any leftover textiles will be donated to lock schools, and the fantastic .ekm

Are you a local school or charity who could make use of the textiles?
