First, a write-up of our new five-piece suedette collection. 👜
Three bag styles and two co-ordinating small accessories. The palette runs through versatile shades (mink, olive, brown and black) designed to carry retailers from Spring/Summer right into Autumn/Winter.

This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of the business - covering everything from stock and supplier admin to sales support and general office operations.
It suits someone who knows their way around a busy office, and can hit the ground running without needing their hand held.

Happy St George’s Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nearly 80 years ago, G. H. Stafford & Son LTD was founded in Walsall.
Four generations later, we’re still here, still family run, and still supplying leathergoods and accessories to retailers and wholesalers across the UK.
We don’t often stop to shout about that. But today feels like a reasonable excuse. 😄
And what better day to show off a classic tan leather backpack. 🎒😉

Here’s to long-standing family businesses, independent retailers, and nearly 80 years of just getting on with it. 🧱 💪

Anyone who’s ever worked in buying will recognise this scene instantly. Anyone who hasn’t might be wondering why two of our team are sat on the floor surrounded by bags and paperwork. 🫢

This is where the final decisions actually get made. No glamour, just instinct, experience, and a lot of going back and forth between options until it feels right.

But this is only part of it. Once the order’s placed, what follows is QC inspections, supplier reports, back and forth on details, and then the whole logistics process before anything lands in our warehouse.

By the time the goods arrive, a lot has happened that nobody ever sees. 📦
