Black Orchid Empire are without a doubt one of my all time favourite bands, so to have designed and built this bass for Dave has just been absolutely epic! This beast has a 37-34 inch scale length, stainless steel frets, swamp ash body and a 5-piece laminate neck made from maple and ebony with an ebony fretboard and Mother of Pearl inlays. The pickups are hand wound, encased in solid ebony and sound the absolute dogs!

You can AND ABSOLUTELY SHOULD catch Black Orchid Empire on their tour in two weeks to see this beauty in the flesh! The band are incredible and you won't be disappointed!! Also, go and listen to their newest release Angelfire - it'll melt your face off!

First social post in forever... go me! 🥳 breaking the silence with this awesome bass I've been obsessing over for the last few months. Super excited about this design! It'll be available in any scale length with 4, 5 and 6 string options.

This one I'm building is for me and will be a 5 string multiscale and it's GONNA SLAM!!!

I'm making another Freyja F.T. at the moment. I'm planning on staining the swamp Ash Black this time and giving her an oil finish.

So far the plan is to make her a one pickup shred machine, so if you're interested in this one it's going to be #05 in the series and £1,899 delivered.
