After 49 wonderful years, the time has finally come for us to retire and say goodbye to Valley Nurseries.
This has not been an easy decision, but it feels like the right moment to pass the business on. We’re delighted to say it has been sold to new owners who are genuinely excited to build upon and improve what we have created over the years.
First and foremost, we want to thank our incredible staff. Your loyalty, hard work and dedication - in all weathers and through all seasons - have been the heart and soul of this business. Quite simply, we could never have done it without you. We are so pleased that you are all remaining, along with all of our wonderful concessions. The same friendly faces will still be there to welcome you - just without us behind the counter!
Secondly, and just as importantly, we want to thank you - our loyal customers. As a family business, your support has meant everything to us. Many of you have been coming to us for decades; some of you have grown up alongside the nursery. Your kindness, encouragement and custom over the last 49 years have allowed us to do what we love every single day.
The business will remain as it always has been, and we know it is in very good hands. We wish the new owners, our staff, and all the concessions every success and happiness for the future.
