**CHRISTMAS!** 😂

Yes, I know it’s only September. But actually, there’s a very good reason I’m mentioning it already…

Our **Zero Waste Christmas Cake Kits are BACK!** 🎄♥️

These have become a bit of a Going Green Christmas tradition, and every year you lot seem to go slightly more bonkers for them! We get lots of repeat customers, lots bought on recommendations and plenty bought as gifts too. Which makes us very happy… but also means November & December can descend into a small avalanche of dried fruit, nuts and brown paper bags 😂

So once again, this year I’m attempting to be **ORGAN-ISED** and opening pre-orders nice and early 🙌🏼

Our first week without Bea and it definitely feels different in the shop, but still plenty of things to pop in for of course! September is here and the children are back at school this week - time to stock up on all those pantry staples so that you always have tasty snacks on hand for those hungry bellies! Before school, during school and after school - always 😂 Lots of lovely trail mix combos to create to keep every one happy!

And, as it’s September, it’s time to talk about CAKE - the festive variety! I’ve already had a couple of eager beaver orders 😅 so let’s put it out there!

The very lovely Beatrice is leaving us! 😭
She’s off on a new adventure to Switzerland 🇨🇭, where her other half has landed a rather exciting new job with Audi F1 🏎️✨
Which means, sadly, THIS IS OUR LAST EVER WEEK OF BEA BAKEHOUSE BREAD! 💔

So… now might be the time to clear some space in the freezer. Or possibly buy a chest freezer. We’re not here to judge. 😂

Hola from Andalucia ☀️🥰

We are having a wonderful time in Spain, exploring the mountains, finding secret waterfalls and just about surviving the heat! Just a couple of photos of the most beautiful walk we did

The shop is open as normal this week (4pm close on Thursday) and Bea is back later this week so we will have her sourdough bread and pastries back on Saturday! All available to order at the moment online so if you have a favourite loaf, order by Thursday to influence what’s on offer 😉

2 weeks into the summer holidays - how’s everybody doing?

I’ve been very lax with my social media updates so apologies from me - it’s been a busy few weeks already 😂

So a couple of IMPORTANT updates from me - please share with anybody who might not see this 🙏🏻

BREAD 🍞

Beatrice is on holiday from next week so there will be NO BREAD on Wednesday 5th August, Saturday 8th August and Wednesday 12th August! Back to normal on Saturday 15th! I say normal but as many of you know, Beatrice will be moving away in September so we will very sadly be saying goodbye to her and her delicious sourdoughs at the end of August! Please make the most of it while you can and use the website to preorder and avoid disappointment 😢

THURSDAY LATE NIGHT SHOPPING✨

We will be closing at 4pm on Thursdays during the summer holidays! It’s been a bit hit or miss the last few weeks so apologies to anybody that may have missed us. Summer holiday cover is always a juggle so for the next 4 weeks please assume we are closing at 4pm. We will reintroduce late nights again in September 💛

How’s everybody doing? Last few weeks of term always feel a bit manic for me….kids are tired but excited for the summer holidays, lots of social things going on…and the heat 🥵 Sure my brain doesn’t keep up as well as it normally does 😂

I meant to post last week to say that Bea is on holiday this Wednesday so there won’t be any fresh bread or pastries until Saturday. Really sorry for the short notice and inconvenience. One of many things I’ve probably forgotten to do this week 🙈

The shop is open as normal though so please do pop in for all your usual goodies 🥰
