Everyone tells you you’ve got to be crazy to start a food business… and you know what, they’re right! Becoming a tiny company means becoming a marketeer, accountant, pastry chef, person the verge of a nervous breakdown. But it’s a delicious endeavour and we’ll pour our hearts into all of it to make the loveliest treats we could ever imagine! We’re lucky to be able to use the skills we have and have amazing people around us like at .kitchen and in our community in South East London ♥️🍫✨🌞🍓

This was July 2025 ✨🦀🌞 It’s coming up to a year (A WHOLE YEAR this August) since I wrote my first blog post entitled the Late Night Pudding Club and oh boy did I not realise at the time what a wild ride that was going to take me on.

I was already moving into chocolate and food as a career but it hadn’t “clicked” yet. I was floundering about 🐠 without direction when quite suddenly a black forest gateaux provided a spark of inspiration and a starting point…

The thought process: “mmm Black Forest gateaux. But is the best part of any cake the fillings and ganaches? For sure. That would be a right nice chocolate bar… a freshly made chocolate bar with snappy chocolate, melty ganache, multi-layered tiers of delicious textures and tastes… let’s make it. Christmas collection was the meaning of handmade! Handmade chocolate bars, every ganache, every toasted nut or fruity filling, hand tempered chocolate, handmade boxes with manually foiled / embossed lettering, so proud and so happy with what we made… but surely there must be a better way! I’ve been working hard for the past couple of months to get a couple of automations in place while still maintaining the handmade quality and care through and through. This just means I’m ordering in the boxes from a UK print studio and getting a tempering machine, all the fillings and flavours will still be by hand as nature intended. Back soon with more LNPC…! ♥️✨🍫

WE JUST MADE 300 CHOCOLATE BARS! 🍫✨

Last week was absolutely wild – our first corporate order as Late Night Pudding Club Ltd came through and we made 261, followed by another 10 for a second client. That’s 271+ chocolate bars in one week and honestly? I loved every chaotic, chocolatey moment of it.

Huge thanks to .kitchen for being the most incredible creative kitchen space and community. And massive love to .studio for creating packaging that’s as beautiful as the chocolate inside.

Now let’s make another 300 for Christmas! 🌙
