Geology fact Friday! 🔬

Did you know that Bismuth is one of the few metals that forms naturally into stunning staircase-shaped crystals? Those incredible rainbow colours aren't paint — they're caused by a super-thin oxide layer that forms as the metal cools, and different thicknesses reflect different colours of light.

There will also be a dog show, children's entertainment, Punch and Judy, bouncy castles, classic cars, a live band, horticultural competition, birds of prey show, animal experiences, refreshments and many other stalls.
