Not sure how itโ€™s been a whole year since we celebrated completing the restoration & repairs of Warminster Maltings, but it has... and what a day it was!

From superb live entertainment and delicious food, to (of course) plenty of ๐’‡๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’‚๐’”๐’•๐’Š๐’„ beer the place was filled with fun, conversation and celebration from start to finish.

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to bring together the people who make Warminster Maltings so special โ€“ our customers, suppliers, supporters and friends.

As we look back on the celebrations, we'd like to say another huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to all those who continue to support the Maltings and help preserve this unique piece of Britain's malting heritage.

๐ŸŒพ From Field to Fermenter: A Story Worth Sharing

We were delighted to be featured in Whatโ€™s Brewing last week in Roger Protzโ€™s thoughtful piece on how British brewers and farmers are working together to tackle the challenges facing our landscapes and farming heritage
The article highlights a movement that matters deeply to us: regenerative farming, traditional floor malting, and a commitment to British-grown ingredients. These arenโ€™t trends โ€” theyโ€™re long-term choices that benefit our landscapes, our farmers, and the future of great beer.

At The Chiltern Brewery, this has always been our way. Provenance, good husbandry and supporting local agriculture sit at the heart of every pint we brew.

Thatโ€™s why weโ€™re so excited about our partnership with the team at Waddesdon Estate, where our barley is now being grown using regenerative methods before making its way to the historic Warminster Maltings to be turned by hand on traditional floors.

Itโ€™s a slower, more thoughtful process โ€” but itโ€™s one that respects the land, the craft and the beer.

We were also genuinely touched by Rogerโ€™s kind words about our family, our brewery and our beers. His support for independent brewing has meant a great deal to us over the years.

Good beer begins long before it reaches the brewhouse. It starts in the soil.

Weโ€™re in the midst of the second annual English Whisky Week!

It may only be the second year, but for a good while now, English whisky has been making some serious waves.
The category continues to grow and is gaining global recognition along the way. An English Whisky has twice been named ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’”๐’• ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’๐’† ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’๐’• ๐‘พ๐’‰๐’Š๐’”๐’Œ๐’š ๐’Š๐’ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’๐’… at the World Whisky Awards!

This week is about raising awareness and encouraging people to try English-made whisky.
Visit www.englishwhiskyweek.com to find your local distillery and see what makes English Whisky special.
