Did you know that we also hold birthday parties in our wonderful woodland?

Suitable for ages 5 and over, a 2 hour party includes den building, toasting marshmallows, mud kitchen, slack lines and food cooked on the fire. All you need is a birthday cake and party bags if you choose to.

We had a lovely time today in Warminster park for the first ever YouthFest!
Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by for a chat and to build a den 😊🌳. We were so busy that I only managed to take one photo! This was Alfie's creation 👏.

I know I keep going on about wearing long trousers and checking carefully for ticks when you get home, but I think this post shows how tiny the nymphs really are!

Just how small can a tick be? This tiny nymph tick, found on Dartmoor, is about the size of a poppy seed. Nymph ticks are thought to cause many Lyme disease infections, partly because they're so small they're often not noticed and removed promptly.

A big thank you to our community member for sharing this photo and helping raise awareness.

14 years ago today I ran my first ever Forest School session 😄🌳🔥
Thank you so much to everyone who has been even a tiny part of our journey 🥰 and especially to those who have been with us for a large number of those years.
