Just over a year ago, Sugar Hut opened its doors in the heart of Warminster. My mum had a vision to bring something sweet and special to our little town — because there was nothing quite like it here. She wanted to create a place full of colour, happiness and treats that would make people smile.

Sadly, my mum passed away not long after opening, and at just 16 years old I made the decision to take over and continue what she started. It hasn’t always been easy, but the support from our amazing community has meant everything to me.

Since taking over, the shop has grown into such a success, and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. Every jar we fill and every customer who walks through the door reminds me why she started this journey in the first place.

I’m working every day to fulfil my mum’s dream — to make it bigger, better, and even sweeter than she imagined. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this past year. You’re not just supporting a small business, you’re helping keep my mum’s dream alive 🤍🍭✨

Here’s to many more sweet years ahead.

We’re delighted to officially announce our re-opening! Today, Friday the 6th of February, we’ll be opening our doors once again. We’ll be open as usual from 1–4pm, and then returning in the evening from 6–8pm.

During our evening opening, we’ll be serving freshly made waffles 🧇 in 5 different flavour choices and our much-loved schmoo milkshakes 🧋.

Today’s Dorothy House Hospice Charity Run/Walk was, in my eyes, an incredible success.

The run by the numbers:
• A total of 212 miles covered in just two hours
• Participants aged from 3 to 72 years old
• Runners travelling from as far as Land’s End, Cornwall
• £145 raised by our top individual fundraiser
• 11 miles covered by the highest-mileage runner
• Total funds raised still being counted, with Gift Aid to follow
• Best dressed award proudly claimed by Freddie Mercury
• Boxers from the Academy that took part 24
• Most importantly — 100% of participants kept safe, thanks to a robust risk assessment

When we first began planning this event, I never imagined the level of support we would receive. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

To everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, marshalled, spoke, donated or simply showed up you became part of my family’s journey of remembrance and healing. Your support has meant more than words can say and I will always be grateful.
