Sorry I have been a bit quiet around here, the adjustment back to normal life and juggling everything is quite a lot! I am so looking forward to sharing some sewing with you but until then, let’s celebrate more of your makes!

whipped up this stunning in one of our Rayons from a while back. This was one of those fabrics that is an absolute treat and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to keep some! I have no concrete plans for it yet though so suggestions welcome! Kelly’s slip is absolutely stunning don’t we all think?!

These beautifully vibrant by have all the summer vibes! I have seen this pattern made up in a range of fabrics and it is loved by many and it is easy to see why! These lovely pants were made up in our Kobe Cotton Twills from a while back, they are a gorgeous quality of cotton twill that is just the right weight for pants and jackets!

We love to see you getting wear out of your makes including ones you have had for a while! Yvette bought this fabric from us back in 2020 and made this lovely Norma blouse. It’s great to see it getting an outing all this time on!

This sailboats viscose has always been one of my favourite of our fabrics. I love how silky it is and at a first glance I don’t think you notice it is boats, it just looks like a fun geometric design!

Never actually managed to take part in Me Made May before so maybe this year is the year!

I tend to be quite a spontaneous sewer, I have a list of plans that would take years to do and things always skip straight to the top of the list when I think of them so I would like to use May to evaluate what I have and how I use it, identify gaps and direct my sewing focus towards fixing them. This would probably also help me to know from my stash, what I need to buy and what I certainly do not need to buy too!

Running a small business solo can really take it’s toll on you, so I’ve decided to be kind to myself and take a little break! It’s been tough recently and it has begun to really weigh me down so I’m acting now before I fully burnout.

For this reason, the shop in Warrington will be closed for a little while however, online orders will continue to be processed during this time. Make the most of our fab discount SPRINGSALE20 as it will only last as long as the stock does! I will continue to keep track of what you have been making and sharing your amazing makes too, maybe even some of my own!
