Finished For Friday!

A few Friday's ago now actually, but with SandnesGarn Line restocked we thought it was about time we shouted about Black Sheep Lucy's fab Sabai top. A designed by Susanne Müller. Lucy thoroughly enjoyed knitting this pattern and the yarn was a real treat to use.

All of us at Black Sheep Wools are deeply saddened by the death of knitting and crochet designer Carol Meldrum. Carol was the backbone of our workshop programme for many years, teaching both crochet and knitting with incredible patience, humour and a smile (even when she’s been on the 5am train from Glasgow). An incredibly talented designer whose designs graced the Knitter, Vogue Knitting, Rowan Magazine, our very own Betwixtmas and many more. Carol had an ability to make a complex technique achievable for all. She had all of this talent and a sparkling personality too. She will be missed by many.

Our thoughts are with her family and her husband Andy at this very difficult time.
