Off out today for a boiler install. As part of the install we do a leak check before we start to ascertain if any gas leaks already exist on the system, that way when we've finished the install and repeat the test if there is a leak present we'll know that the fault is on the work we've done and not somewhere else in the property. Initial test ~ no leaks present, so we cracked on with the install. The video shows the gas pipe from the meter which Jack discovered had never been soldered (he leant on it!) and the owner had never reported a smell of gas in the 20 odd years he had lived there! Who needs solder eh!!!
