Honest Post 🩷 I usually wear the main character energy cap but this one is more me the last couple of months. 😮‍💨

I receive a huge number of enquiries from makers and brands wanting to stock their work at Fond, plus collaborations, partnerships and everything in between. I love it, genuinely, and am so flattered and proud that so many people want to work with me. But I’m just one person, and responding individually to every message isn’t something I can keep up with - in fact I’ve been failing at it miserably lately and it doesn’t make me feel good!

If I’m being totally honest, I have to prioritise tasks on their necessity to make money - I’m running a business and work 6 days a week trying to make it a success. So being present in and running the shop, keeping the shelves stocked with products that I know will sell, responding to customers and promoting Fond will always be done before responding to brand enquiries.

So last week I made the decision to put an automated message on my inbox stating I would only reply to brand enquiries if I wanted to take things further. Please know that I do read every email (and most DMs if possible). If I love what you’ve shared and think we’re a good fit, I’ll be in touch. If you don’t hear from me, please don’t take it personally - and please don’t follow up multiple times 😅 Sometimes I get 3 emails from the same brand in 1 week and I haven’t had chance to read the first one yet!!!

I took part in a gorgeous creative community activity recently - Lymm’s ‘Big Picture’ - which involves 32 people each painting a section of an image, so that when they’re all put together they make one big picture (which captures everyday life in our village.) I went to see it all assembled on the side of the village hall this morning and it made me smile so much 😁 Lymm folks, make sure you go have a look at it in person, it’s really special! 🩷

We’re so excited to be joining our colour-loving forces on Saturday 27th June for the The Hello Joy Print Party! 🎉

Laura Laura Collier and Louise Lousurfacepattern | Design studio are collaborating for a day of colour, pattern and joy at Fond in Lymm, Cheshire.

Louise will be bringing a wide range of her gorgeous bright art prints and bold patterned accessories to Fond, plus she’s created an exclusive print especially for the day. There’ll be fizz on arrival and a Hello Joy goodie bag for the first five customers on the day. 🥂🎁
