Adding in extra nutrients to your daily diet is so much easier than what you may think
It also doesn’t have to cost you extra money
Often we already have lots of nutritious ingredients already in our cupboards at home

Excellent sources of the powerful antioxidants polyphenols which can help support our overall health, can be found in the dried herbs and spices already in our store cupboards:
🌿Basil
🌿Garlic
🌿oregano
🌿paprika
🌿pepper
🌿ginger
🌿cinnamon
🌿Tumeric

Try adding some of these herbs to your everyday meals whilst cooking, for example you could add in some of these to your bolognaise’s and curry’s as well as soups and sauces

Tomatoe puree is an excellent source of the antioxidant lycopene and can be added to lots of recipes too 🍅

One of the simplest things we can do to improve our overall wellbeing is to add something in each day which will contribute towards improving our health
You dont need focus too much at first about taking things out of your diet, just think about adding in little bits of extra nutrients here and there to your meal and snacks, you will be suprised at how quickly these changes compound and change how you feel for the better 💯
Embarking on a health journey doesn’t need to be overwhelming and extreme, little by little is often more sustainable and kinder to yourself than making a huge overhaul all at once
I will be giving some examples over the next few posts in what we can add in to our diet to make a difference 🍊

Whenever we want make changes, we should always ask ourselves, what’s my why? Why do I want to make these changes? What will these changes mean/look like for my future?
By asking this, we then have the purpose and motivation to move towards our goal
For me investing in my health & wellbeing is all about wanting to optimise how I feel both physically and mentally so I can get the most out of life and feel my best, I want to increase my healthy years not just my years
When we invest in our health and wellbeing we get so much more out of life, nourishing our bodies and nurturing ourselves can only ever be a positive thing
