I'm back!

Hello everyone, thank you so much for bearing with me while I was in Latvia dealing with a family emergency.

While I was away, my amazing partner Rhys was packing all your orders while talking to me on video call, so do let me know if his packing skills weren't up to scratch 😉

While I was away, a really exciting order of some brand new herbal teas has arrived, so I will get that online as soon as possible! One of the teas is a sleepy tea which I had last night and I actually slept all the way through the night which is amazing as lately I have been sleeping terribly 😴

I've also decided to support some small local artists, so very soon a lovely selection of cards will be up on the website too!

I'm really looking forward to the next couple of weeks as lots of fun things are happening, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Good morning everyone, unfortunately due to a family emergency, I have to go to Latvia at the last minute. So, if you have been thinking about placing an order, please do so before 12 pm tonight. I'll get them packed for you and my partner Rhys, will get them posted for you on Tuesday.

Happy National Tea Day!!
I had the joy of celebrating by doing a tea tasting! I was so nervous but it was a real success and I can't wait to do it again 🥰
Of course I had to wear my teapot earrings for good luck ✨️

I spent the afternoon foraging nettles!
I'm super excited to try nettle tea. This has been on my to-do list for a very long time!

Have you ever tried nettle tea?

I know you can have it fresh straight away, or you can dry it and store it for later, so I'm excited to try both methods.

We are super excited to announce that you will now be able to have a cup of our lovely tea at the amazing cafe!
If you haven't visited them before, definitely put them on your must visit list! The Lord Leycter holds 900 years' worth of history between their walls, and of course, the cafe nestled in the great hall is fantastic too!

I want to start off by saying sorry that we have been so quiet on here. Lately, life just got so busy!
However, it was Womens day on Friday and today is Mother's day so I wanted to take this opportunity to get back on here with a heart full of love on a weekend that celebrates all the amazing women around us!
So I want to say the biggest thank you to my business partner Sheryl ! She is incredible, we both already work full time but she also has has children and on top of that we run Beyond Tea together, some days I honestly don't know how she does it! A real superwoman and I'm so happy to be on this business journey with her! Thank you for being a shoulder to lean on at all the markets we made -£10 and thank you for celebrating with me at all the markets we made +£150. Here is to many more ups and downs and most importantly laughs together ❤️

I've spent the morning coming up with social media posts for this week so get ready because you will be seeing alot more Beyond Tea on your feed!

We have a new arrival!
This time, it's the delicious Russian Caravan. This tea is a true classic. We blended a few different variations until we found the perfect one.
This blend consists of Keemun (black tea), Formosa (oolong), and of course, Lapsang Souchong (smoky black tea).
The name for this tea originates from the camel caravans that were used for the trans-continental tea trade from China to Europe via Russia. There are a few different stories which talk about how the tea acquired its smokiness but the main one believes that since the journey was so long, the tea leaves were exposed to campfires night after night. The smoke from the campfire infused into the tea leaves creating this wonderful rich and smoky flavour!
These days however the smoky effect is achieved by letting the tea leaves dry over pine wood fires.

Happy Friday everyone!
If you have ever wondered how much 50g of tea actually is, then you are not alone, this is a question we get asked quite often.
50g of tea will give you roughly between 16-20 cups of tea and this depends on various things such as the leaf size or how strong you like your tea.
We decided to sell tea in such small quantities as we thought that this would be the perfect trial size for most people, this way you can try teas that you have had your eye on without a big commitment!
