A flower crown I made recently for a very lovely recipient to wear to a special wedding. It’s quite unusual nowadays for guests to wear flowers to weddings but not long ago everyone would have worn a buttonhole or corsage. Thanks to Dave Musson Photography for the photograph.

Alison and Stuart.
They wanted daisies and wildflowers in a just-gathered style to fit the countryside feel of their wedding. When we talked more about their theme and I learned about the game bird table names and the buttonholes Alison and her mum were making using shot cartridges, purple ribbon and feathers, I suggested adding some feathers, a few purple-blue thistles and some grasses to the brief, and we had our look.
