HUGE well done to Joshua this week!

Joshua has recently joined Drumstars just before Xmas after having lessons with me in school and since then he has come on leaps and bounds.

After learning the basics in school he began working on his performances choosing 3 pieces from the new Rockschool books (Come as you are, Tracks of My Tears and Where is my mind). Joshua made quick work of the pieces completing them just before the Xmas break. We decided we'd then select 6 other songs from the books. I say 6 because Josh loved the sound of all of them and didn't wanna have to pick 👍😁 🙈

As of today, we completed the 6th song and if im honest Josh pretty much taught himself some of these songs and techniques so it was safe to say a lesson plan or two went out the window! 🤣

Joshua is scheduled for his Grade 1 exam in April. We wish you the best of luck!

So pleased with your progress Josh and its really refreshing to see your enthusiasm behind the drum set.
