💕🦔I’ve had a lovely time carving (or rather sculpting) these clay pumpkins this afternoon. I haven’t made them before so I watched a tutorial and decided to give it a go. It was great fun!

💕🦔🎉Hello lovely people! I just wanted to let you know that I am back in my workshop and making some autumny ceramics.

So yesterday I was busy making some maple leaf dishes. I picked two different sized maple leaves from the tree in my garden, then pressed them into clay to transfer all the lovely markings and then I carefully cut them out.

They have been drying overnight and today I am cleaning them up and smoothing all the pointy bits out (if left these would be very sharp once they are fired ) I have attached a little heart shaped foot to the base so that the dish will sit nicely. Finally I am sculpting my usual little miniature hogs to then attach very carefully to the top of the dish.

I have finished two dishes this morning and have another four to work on this afternoon. Here are some pics of the different stages of making them and a pic of the finished maple dish that I made last year and kept as a sample 😁🦔💕

💕🦔 Hello everyone, gosh, was it only a week ago that I held the online sale! A lot has gone on since them, I have been very busy, parcels have been packed and posted, some have already been delivered and I have received some really lovely feedback. One message I received is from a lovely long time supporter and collector of HFH heart decorations and other items 😍 who sent me a photo of the heart decorations that she has bought recently. I love the way they have been creatively displayed. I think they look a-ma-zing! Can you also see that a trinket dish has been used as a wall hanging too - great idea! I would love to see your photos, so please feel free to send them to pop them in the comments or send to me via Messenger 🦔💕

Keep watching and I will be posting the amount that has been raised from proceeds of the sale last week very soon.

It was such a busy evening and I feel very blessed that my ceramics are popular and sell so fast. Sorry if you missed out. I think I may need a little helper to help me keep on top of all the messages that I receive in the evening.
I feel very motivated to get a head start making again once this hot weather calms down a bit.
