We got together with our Parisian Dealer Nedgis last week in a beautiful workshop, where 24 guests got to build their very own iconic Original 1227 Mini Desk Lamp.

A great occasion to share the Anglepoise Brand story and present our new collections to peers of the French Interior Design industry.

The Original 315 Desk Lamp – Navigation Edition traces its origins back to the 1940s, when it was developed as a specialist adaptation of the Original 1227. Designed for navigators aboard long range maritime patrol aircraft, it illuminated chart tables on missions where precision mattered.

Named after its original project number, the Original 315 remained hidden within our archive for decades. Today, we've brought it back, carefully re-engineered for modern life while remaining true to the character and purpose of the original.
