Happy New Year!! We hope that you have all had a lovely Christmas and we wish you all a very happy and healthy 2023, may it be filled with love, peace and happiness.
We are very grateful to you all for your support and ask that you all bear with us while we navigate an extremely difficult period.
On October 30th my husband, my 8 year old son and myself were with my sister and devastatingly witnessed her being killed. As you can imagine we are currently suffering from not only the gravity of our loss, but also the immense trauma of it.
As founder and director of Caitlin's Candy ltd, I felt I needed to write to you all to explain that within a couple of weeks of launching this business the unthinkable happened and we have not started off the way we intended. We had good intentions to try to move forward and get involved in the Christmas celebrations, but this has proved more difficult than we could possibly have imagined.
For those of you who know, this business was set up in the memory of my 16 year old daughter who we lost in 2017 and this new trauma has triggered old traumas that none of us have yet healed from. For this reason, I have had to make the decision, for now, to focus on our mental health and wellbeing, as we have a lot of healing to do, so I have decided for the time being to temporarily pause Caitlin's Candy, with the intention of relaunching when we are ready.
In the meantime, if there is anything we can help with please get in touch, if we can, we will. We really do look forward to working with you in the not-too-distant future, and thank you again for your patience, support and understanding.

Massive apologies for the lack of posts and updates. Our family suffered a traumatic bereavement the day before Halloween and Caitlin’s Candy has been neglected since, while we struggle to cope with our loss.
Please don’t let our lack of input put you off, We promise this will not be the norm! We are trying to get back on it, and although it is a lot later than originally planned, we will hopefully be posting our exciting new Christmas products within the week. Please keep your eyes peeled as we will be offering a one day only special discount, to make up for missing Black Friday. Thank you for bearing with us xx

It has come to my attention that our delivery costings on our website had some major issues and were charging per item plus adding on packaging charges and handling fees. This has now been rectified and I can't apologies enough.

Well, how heartbreaking. So, so many young and old people involved. I feel drained and I only sat and watched it. I can't imagine the emotions all the service men and women must be feeling. A job very well done indeed. 👏
