TOMORROW!! So excited to be in the Woodlands Community Hub from 11-4…

Join us for a wonderfully varied range of stalls and a free craft space for families. Come and make a woven owl, a cheerful flower, or just enjoy a bit of mindful colouring!

Set in the wonderful location of Leavesden Country Park you can combine your visit with a tasty treat at the Woodlands Cafe, some fun in the playground and a wander in the park and woodland areas.

Meet… Hootie!!

I had the pleasure of helping create Hootie on Saturday and since then she’s headed back to her home in the garden, gone into school to met all the children and teachers, and even had a PowerPoint created about how she was made!!

It’s such a privilege to help children be creative and to see the joy and imagination that can begin with even a simple creative act.

We LOVED being with the St Andrews Watford community last weekend and we’re excited to be helping host the One YMCA Woodlands Summer Fayre this Saturday (11-4pm, Leavesden Country Park). Come along and enjoy a free craft time… you could even make your own ‘Hootie’!

We LOVE the St Andrews Watford Summer Fete and we’re so delighted to be invited back!

Come along tomorrow for a BBQ, bouncy castle, crafts to buy and to make, cakes, games, tombola, and a raffle including a family trip to the Harry Potter studios and this year… sumo suits!!

We’ll be offering a very sweet owl weaving craft for free, as well as a great range of cards, gifts and craft kits. We’re especially excited to have a new range of cards from the very talented fiona.grace_art

Enjoyed creating this little one from donated wool and fabrics, twigs from our apple tree, and a bit of felt!

And you can make your own woven owl craft at one of the events we’ll be attending over the next couple of weeks…

The Summer Fete this Saturday (13th June, 12-3pm, St Andrews Church, Watford)

And the Summer Fayre next Saturday
(20th June, 11-4pm, YMCA, College Road, Abbots Langley)
