Welcome to the Roving Canal Traders Association (RCTA) Hertfordshire Canal Traders page. We have many varied traders within our membership including, blacksmiths, artists, writers, very skilled artisans and very good cooks!! All selling their wares along the towpath as they float along the network. If you would like to know when floating traders are visiting the canal near you, this is the page for you.

Roving canal traders live and trade on their narrowboats and travel around the UK canal and river network selling a huge range of products. From hand made goods, home made cakes and goodies to hippies clothes, herbs, records, hand carved wooden items and original art pieces.

We also also advertise organised canal events, festivals, floating markets and canal based business’s. So you will always be kept informed what is happening near you.
