Our 1940s Weekend is about much more than heritage trains. It's a chance to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of wartime Britain, with every station offering something unique to explore.
Meet wartime characters, admire beautifully preserved vehicles, browse vintage stalls and enjoy live music and dancing before hopping aboard one of our heritage trains to continue your journey.
There's plenty to see throughout the day, making it an event you'll want to experience from start to finish.
Visitors can enjoy:

πΆ Live entertainment, food and refreshments
Whether you're visiting with friends, family or fellow railway enthusiasts, we can't wait to welcome you.
