Layers of Charm is located in Room 14 The Antiquarium, Unit 1, Ordnance Depot, Weedon. A room with an eclectic assortment of antiques, vintage, collectibles and curios items. Small items of furniture, wall art, ceramics, kitchenalia, glassware, antique silver flatware, silver vintage jewellery, contempory hand made jewellery, ethnographic art and more.

Antique Victorian 1850's carved walnut Salon chair, with original porcelain castors. Recently upholstered in lovely furniture fabric, in a complementary shade of indigo, that perfectly enhances this beautifully carved walnut frame.
Restored, utilising old techniques that are sympathetic to the age and style of this elegant chair. A discreetly placed metal plate (see photo below) provides stability to one arm rest, damaged at some point in its 200 year old history.
Fabric and materials meet with safety regulations.
