Not everyone grew up with a cozy main street, neighbors who knew your name, or a childhood home you can still go back to.
If you never had a safe hometown, it is valid to grieve that.
It is also valid to let a fictional town start to heal that longing.
Maple Hollow was created to be the hometown you miss or wish you had. Not a perfect place, but a gentle one. The kind of town where people mess up, apologize, try again, and keep a place at the table for you anyway.
Inside its streets and shops, you can practice things that feel scary in real life.
Belonging, without fear of being too much.
Forgiveness, without the risk of being hurt again.
Second chances, without the weight of your real history.
You are allowed to show up in Maple Hollow with all your baggage and still be welcomed. You are allowed to feel attached to a place that exists on the page because the comfort you feel is real.
Let this town be a soft rehearsal space for the kind of community you deserved. Let it be proof that your heart was not asking for too much. It was just asking in the wrong place.
Comment "HOME" if you have ever felt more attached to a fictional town than your real one and follow for more Maple Hollow comfort.
