Mistral Baits UK The longest established carp bait manufacturer in the world 🎣 🌎 Mistral Baits have been in business for over 33 years.

– where has that time gone?

From our humble beginnings working in a rented cowshed, making baits for friends and local shops, to our modern factory producing baits for ourselves and many distinguished competitors has taken time, effort and a little luck. However, we are a determined and knowledgeable bunch who take pride in our work, whether the product has the name Mistral on the pack or not. We make baits here for you with total dedication. We don’t make baits to fit a price we make prices that fit the bait, hence having different ranges in our price list. We hope you like your Mistral journey and catch some big carp along the way. Let us know when you do please.

Lee Mellor:

“Five from this weekend, biggest two commons were 36.14 and 35.12 plus an odd shaped mirror at 26.8, I managed a couple of others too.
They were all caught on a mix of Shrimp and Rosehip snowmen with mini tens in the bags among the fading weedbeds, with a few tigers over the top.”

Ken Wildman:
“We have been receiving some super success lately using Belachan Shrimp hard ho**ers over the top of the wonderful new Super Solubles.
The 3 commons in the photos weighed in at 49, 41 and 60+ for my daughter Niki in France. The other two English fish from the Nene Valley.”

NEW Super Solubles 🧐

Here's a sneak peek at a new product we've been working on. They act like a softer, washed-out bait that is real for fishing, up to 36/48 hours, depending on water temps and nuisance species.

Some of our respected anglers, such as Ken Wildman, have been catching on these recently, and many of them are very infrequent visitors to the bank.

They will be available in the different Mistral ranges to match.

Coming very soon!

🔥 MIGHTY RIVER TRENT — PURE GOLD 🔥

Out on the mighty Trent, armed with the one and only Mistral Baits Belchan Shrimp 💥💛

She was something special — roaring upstream head‑on into the current, 15 solid minutes tearing line off, fighting every inch of the way… then this absolute BAR OF GOLD graced the net 😍

Scales swung round to 20lb 4oz — what a beast. A truly special fish that earned every bit of respect.

Nothing hits like a wild Trent barbel — and this one came home on the good stuff 💪🐟

Mark McConnell with the lady of the lake at 31.8, and what an incredible old carp she is.

The incredible relic fell to a Rosehip wafter in a bag which was placed over a bed of mini and maxi ten pellets, plus 10mm, 16mm, and 20mm whole Rosehip Isotonic boilies which were presoaked in bait syrup for a good few days.
The rig was a withy pool rig with a hermit lead system.

“Another one falls to the mighty Atlantic crab. Caught at one of the big pits I fish at 35 wraps, I put in about 5 kilo mix of crab boilies & matching pellets - I caught on a salted hard ho**er & pink pop up combo!
