Last year was my first year there and it was awesome to meet and be among so many other makers, brands and players 🙌

Don't forget your tickets, sticks and ear plugs! Stop by the stand and have a play 🥁🥁🥁

We want to shine a light on one of our affiliate partners: Bersoni Custom Drums ⭐

They're a Somerset based company hand building stave drums that sound incredible. We've had the pleasure of making some content with them which you can find on our Facebook/YouTube. Lovely folk making beautiful drums, which is exactly the sort of partner we like to have!

And if you're a Drum Dog member, you get 10% off their kit. One more reason to treat yourself.

Have a look at what they do here: https://www.bersonicustomdrums.com/

So, Project Maple is really coming together... so much so that I will not be sharing any more of it until it's finished 🤐🤫

In the meantime... don’t forget that all DRUM.DOG members can get 10% of anything currently on the website AND a timely reminder... have you booked your tickets to The UK Drum Show in October?! It's basically 3 months away and it'd be a shame if you missed out on such an awesome weekend!

PROJECT MAPLE

Well... it's been a while, I know 😬 there have been a couple of unavoidable delays but the first coat of primer went on TODAY 🥳

AND THEN...

Having waited a good long while to finally get going, my compressor of seven years had other ideas and exited the project with quite the bang.

BUT a new temporary work space has been acquired, is already sizing it up for various moody drum shots and I’m taking delivery of a replacement compressor in the morning 👍

Oiled! What do you think?!

If you missed the earlier posts... it's Zebrano with spacer staves made from offcuts of Zebrano, Maple and Sapele.

Project Maple continues too! Steam bending a bit more today and hopefully by the beginning of next week another set of re-rings can be put in situ 🤞🤞🤞

Slow week in the workshop... the sun came out - had to get some of that vitamin D! 😎

But today we checked in on the latest shell (zebrano with spacers made out of some leftover zebrano, maple and sapele) and did some turning 🥁 quite like it!

Don't forget, you can check out what's available and ready to play via the link in my bio (www.bersonicustomdrums.com/drums-available)

AND... members can get 10% off any of them!
