We’ve got something to celebrate... 🏆
Holkham has been named both the East regional winner and overall national winner of the inaugural Everyday History Heroes awards, recognising our work to uncover and share the stories of the people who lived and worked here across generations.
And what better way to celebrate than by opening the doors to some of those stories?
Join us this Thursday 17th September for a free Heritage Open Day celebrating 75 years of Holkham Studio Pottery, with talks from our Archivist, Lucy Purvis, and Holkham’s Security and Facilities Manager and passionate pottery collector, Ryan Mills. There will be archive displays, historic photographs and more. 🏺
Talks will be held in the Lady Elizabeth Wing, the former home of the pottery, at 11.30am and 1.30pm.
Then why not head into Holkham Hall to see our Holkham Studio Pottery exhibition, where the stories of the people behind this much-loved local institution are brought to life.
