Obsessed with chicken poo 😂
5/8 of our Chicks were hatched by this morning, we are just waiting on the last 3 before we can open the incubator and pop them in a brooder.

Most of our hens are about 7 years old now and this year we felt it was time to introduce some younger birds to our flock. They are all mixed breed, egg layers. We love lots of eggs to eat and bake snacks with, so hopefully we have lots of hens and not too many cockerels in this hatching 🤞

They will stay at home with us for a few weeks indoors in a box we made with heat lamps to keep them nice and warm and then out in our garden for a few more weeks until we introduce them to our older girls and Cockerel.
